Outstanding Service and Caring Staff

Distinctive Petsitting and their staff of dog walkers, pet sitters, cat sitters and house sitters have cared for our family of pets over the last eight years. The fact that we have used these folks for that length of time is a testament to how much we have valued the care, concern, flexibility and professionalism they have always exhibited. In that time, they have cared for 5 dogs; always 3 or 4 at a time and 2 cats. The friendly staff and knowledgeable sitters have been great about providing the extra care needed whether for a new puppy or our aging dogs and cats. It is difficult to explain how we have ended up with such a menagerie. Their caring house sitters have been invaluable in making it all work in our active lives by accommodating last minute travel plans and schedule changes. Their pet taxi services have helped our pets receive urgent veterinary care in our absence and their experienced vet techs have trimmed our pets nails. While usually reluctant to make recommendations, we have always been very confident in telling friends about Distinctive Petsitting services and never fail to receive rave reviews after our friends have experienced their quality pet care.

Again, Distinctive Petsitting came to my rescue when needed. Just knowing Lisa and her amazingly professional petsitters will be there (no matter what the circumstances) is so reassuring, personalized and rare in business today. I have a very busy schedule and my beloved lab is the love of my life. Distinctive Pet Sitting is by far the most professional and just as important, the most caring pet sitting service I have known in the last 30 yrs. My dog, Misfit, has enjoyed the companionship and exceptional pet care provided by Distinctive Petsitting since the summer of 2008. Misfit receives daily exercise walks and above and beyond personal attention from her favorite pet sitter. I receive daily updates on Misfit’s activities are provided I am relieved to know that my beloved dog is happy and content while I am away from home. Distinctive Petsitting has provided us with Pet Taxi services when Misfit needed to go to the vet for minor health concerns. The staff sitters have been wonderfully accommodating and reassuring when I could not leave work abruptly to go the vet with Misfit. I can recommend this professional service and staff to anyone who truly cares about their pet. Distinctive Pet Sitting is simply the best!
Professional, Compassionate, Reliable

I have used Lisa's services for approximately 2 years. She and her sitters always take great care of my 2 indoor and 1 outdoor cats. Since I travel for work, it's important for me to rely on someone to take care of my 4-legged children. This summer I adopted a 12 week old dachshund and had to go out of town the following week. With very little notice, Lisa saved the day and took care of him. My cats and dog alway seem to be very happy when I return and seeing the daily notes of the visits is a nice touch. I highly recommend Distinctive Petsitting and trust them to care for all my pets.

I have a 10 year old Boxer, Reggiano that has been cared for by Lisa and Amy from Distictive Petsitters for almost a year now. Being new to the area with a job that keeps me travelling, I needed to find someone with a good reputation as well as being trustworthy to take care of my dog. Distinctive Petsitters fit the bill to a T!! There has never been an occasion that they have not found a way to help me out. In the last week I was stuck at a trade show and my air conditioner needed to be repaired. The repairs could not be done because my dog was in my apartment. Lisa dealt with the property management and picked up Reggie and brought him home so the repair could be done. I'm thinking she did this so Reggie would have AC, but hey, I'll take it. If you live int he Smyrna/Vinings area, you cannot do any better than Disticntive Petsitters. Michel Bray

These wonderful pet sitters have been caring for our two precious pups for over 11 years and we couldn't be happier with their services. We have used other services and asked friends to care for our family pets in the past. Our pets are noticeably happier with the special care and the overnight companionship Distinctive Pet Sitting has provided. Yes, over night house sitting is more expensive than putting our pets in a cage at a kennel. The difference is remarkable. All of our pets have the comforts of home and they have pet sitters who truly care and provide personal attention. – And no follow up vet visits for stress and exhaustion. We can depend on Lisa, her pet sitters and office staff to accommodate our changing work schedules and long range travel plans every time. We highly recommend this company to pet owners in the Smyrna, Georgia area.
